- Sports Massage
- OloOk's Director of Operations

  • I have a strong and varied sporting background. This has helped me to become familiar with many different sports injuries and how to treat them.

Don't get me wrong, your problem doesn't have to be sport-related, as I can also help with traditional shoulder and headache problems, for example. Of course, you are very welcome even if you don't have any ailment, a preventive or pampering treatment is always a valid reason to come for a massage!

I always treat each client individually and try to build the best possible package for each client in terms of their goals and needs. I have a strong grip, but I can also handle a gentler approach. Listening to the client and taking their needs into account is my absolute strength!

I am also trained as a Voice Massage therapist. I would like to emphasise in particular that you do not need to be a "voice practitioner" to benefit from Voice Massage. The treatment is very suitable for anyone who feels tension in the upper body. After the treatment, you will feel relaxed and breathe more easily! So feel free to book an appointment and let's get you feeling better!

You can contact me about my own treatments, our group classes, business contracts and all other OloOk related issues!

- Body Mind Energy Balancing Method

  • I am a trained musician and musical theatre professional, and currently work in bodywork and voice as a massage therapist and voice massage therapist. Voice problems sparked my interest in voice care, and before becoming a massage therapist I studied phonetics for several years at the University of Helsinki. Today I combine my knowledge of the body, voice and nervous system into a holistic treatment method.

I specialise in body problems related to breathing, mastication and voice production. I help my clients to understand their own body and voice more deeply and often provide individualised exercises to support massage. My clientele is very diverse - from office workers to professional singers and elite athletes.

My massage combines gentleness and efficiency. I always aim for an individual approach, taking into account not only the physical ailments, but also the possible nervous stresses and the body as a whole. My aim is that you feel restored after the treatment, your breathing becomes easier and your body functions more freely.

In my training I have specialised in body care for athletes, working with teams such as HIFK and HJK. I have also developed the Holistic Voice Recovery method, in which I combine voice-related body and neurological work tools, especially to support voice professionals. I also train and lecture on voice care for teachers, consultants and other speech and language professionals.

In my free time, I enjoy nature, salsa dancing, surfing and constantly evolving as a person and as a professional. In winter I often head to Spain, where I can recharge my batteries in the light and warmth of my partner's home country.

Welcome to treatment - when you feel well, you can help those around you feel better too.

- TMD physiotherapy
- Physiotherapy
- Voice Massage
- Acupuncture

  • I am a confident and sensitive physiotherapist. I have been working in the field for over 14 years and actively maintain my professional skills through regular training. In addition to physiotherapy, my toolkit includes voice massage, acupuncture and personal training.

I also have a Master of Music and have worked as a singer, musician and singing teacher. I am particularly familiar with the physical challenges of voice and breathing, and can pay close attention to them - especially when voice is an important tool.

It is important for me to treat each client in a relaxed and present way. I believe that the body often speaks louder than words. In my practice, you will be heard and understood, and I will always tailor the treatment to your individual needs. The goal is a more pain-free, balanced and functional body that feels good to be in.

My work emphasises a holistic approach to the body, getting to the root of symptoms and restoring balance at both the body and nervous system level. Whether you are coming for treatment for pain, tension or preventative support, you are warmly welcomed just as you are.

In my free time, I live the island life, love going to the cottages and spend a lot of time with my young children. I am into crafts, especially silverwork and stone jewellery, and enjoy quiet moments playing music, writing songs and playing puzzles. I exercise a lot and seek balance through that as well.

Hilla Härkönen

- Osteopathy
- Voice Massage

  • I am a graduate osteopath from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. I specialise in various musculoskeletal disorders, pain conditions and functional disorders of the body, as well as limitations in the quality and range of movement.

I have a varied and long sporting background in different sports. Osteopathy has therefore also become familiar to me through my own ailments. It has also worked for me as a body care treatment alongside my sports training, so you don't even have to have a real problem to come to me. In this case, I help your body feel even better!

Each treatment is structured individually and with respect for the client's wishes. An important part of the treatment is also to look at the body's functionalities and movement patterns, and to assess possible compensatory patterns, which are often the body's way of communicating imbalances or dysfunction. Treatment therefore does not necessarily focus only on the symptomatic tissue itself, but also seeks to find the underlying cause of the symptoms.

I read a lot of literature and research in the field to keep up to date with current trends and the latest developments. I also like to give my clients self-care exercises to support my treatment, which can help to avoid similar problems in the future.

- Massage
- Lymphatic therapy
- Indian head massage

  • I am a trained massage therapist, specialised in manual pain management techniques such as lymphatic massage, mobilising massage, fascial and transverse massage. I also do Indian head massage. I always approach my clients individually through listening, presence and experience. In my work with clients, I value trust, respect and presence, so that the best possible outcome can be achieved and the treatment can support the client's needs.

My additional training as a solution-focused brief therapist gives me a holistic perspective on the mind-body connection, and the ability to treat each client as a gentle and whole person.

I also do narrative massages, where I intuitively tell a story during the massage, which can help you relax and let go of the things that are going on in your mind, while helping your body to relax. Let me know if you would like a story to support your massage.

  • I have been working in holistic healthcare since 2007 and have been part of the OloOk team since 2012. I have been working as a massage therapist for even longer, and along the way I have trained as a Voice Massage Therapist, a Craniosacral Therapist and am currently deepening my knowledge with acupuncture and Chinese medicine studies - my aim is to understand the human body and its balance in an increasingly holistic way.

In my care, I always try to consider the person as a whole and as an individual. I treat my clients gently, listen to their wishes and needs and structure my care accordingly. I aim for a gentle but effective treatment, listening to the body's messages. Depending on the situation, I also provide practical wellness tips to help clients find their own way to support their own recovery and balance.

My background is in art and theatre, and I have worked as an actor in the UK for many years. I have always been interested in how the body and mind interact. In my spare time, this is reflected in my interest in Chinese martial arts, particularly taiji and wushu. They also support the mind-body connection in my own life.

Welcome to my practice - let's see how I can help you.

- Hot stone massage

  • I am a trained osteopath and sports massage therapist, and have been working with physical wellbeing for over 20 years. I have been involved with OloOk since 2009.

I always treat my clients holistically - each body is unique and the treatment is tailored accordingly. As an osteopath, it is important for me to find the root causes of symptoms and to trigger the body's own healing process. I also help you to listen to your body's messages and guide further treatment to prevent problems from recurring.

You can come to me, for example, for muscle and joint pain, stiffness, after-effects of injury, overstrain or prolonged tension. Often, pain is the body's way of telling you to do something differently - together we can start to restore balance and well-being.

In my free time, I like to get out in nature, do forestry work and take care of my body with a home run and gym workout. In the summer I often go to my farm in Ostrobothnia, and sometimes I renovate houses - so there's plenty to do outside the treatment room!

A warm welcome to my care - let's see how I can help you.

- Spiral Pilates (SPS)
- Pilates
- Equipment Pilates
- Group and individual coaching

  • I was introduced to Pilates when I started my dance teacher training in Kuopio in 2004. For a while I couldn't practice dance at all due to injuries, and that's when I discovered pilates as a form of rehabilitation. Since then, I have treated myself and various ailments with pilates on numerous occasions. I loved the anatomy, calmness and precision of the sport - and the fact that I could influence my own health and wellbeing through the practice.

Although Pilates is a versatile sport, after my first Pilates trainings (2011, 2013) I felt that something was missing. I wondered what would be an effective form of body control and exercise that would be accessible to everyone, regardless of time and place - walking! With this idea in mind, I accidentally discovered spiral labilatation in 2014, and the method turned out to be the missing piece I had been looking for. One of the goals of the sport is good quality walking, and through spiral stabilisation training, almost everyone has access to an effective and safe form of exercise - quality walking.

Getting to know the method also changed the way I teach pilates. Spiral Stabilization and its principles form the thread that I follow in my instruction. I can truly say that Spiral Stabilization has changed my understanding of movement, movement and body function - and has improved both my own movement and my instruction.

Nowadays, my coaching is a combination of the best of both worlds. Good quality movement and body control training is suitable for everyone and for many different purposes: as a sporting activity, for rehabilitation, as a supplementary training for athletes or as a bodywork for musicians, to improve playing posture - and thus also to improve the sound of an instrument or the voice of a singer.

My guiding philosophy is that constraints don't mean you can't move or exercise at all - there are always options. Movement can be adapted to suit any situation. A well-done movement is the real medicine! The best part of my work is hearing how a client has started to pay attention to their working posture or walking technique, for example, or how their aches and pains have eased or even disappeared - or that their instrument is playing better!

As an instructor, I am precise, enthusiastic, intuitive and appropriately demanding. The most important thing in my classes is a safe and gentle atmosphere, where everyone can learn at their own pace, with expert and knowledgeable guidance.

Education:Pilates instructor, Spiral Labilatory instructor, Dance teacher, FM

I can also teach in English.

Je peux également enseigner en français.

• Voice therapy
• Facial acupuncture
• Facial lymphatic therapy
• Energy therapy

  • I have a long experience in supporting the well-being of the body and mind. My work combines professional expertise, intuitive sensitivity and a warm presence. Each treatment is individually tailored - exactly to your needs at the time.

At the beginning of the treatment, I will sit down with you to listen to where you are at. Based on this, I will develop a treatment plan that may include manual therapy, lymphatic therapy, acupuncture, the use of tuning forks, and energy therapy. My goal is to help you release tension and return to a state of balance and presence—gently but deeply.

For me, the most important thing is that you feel genuinely met and listened to during your treatment. I warmly welcome you to relax and find balance between body and mind. You are the most important.

• Massage

  • As a translator by profession, I found myself longing for a job where I could meet people. So I decided to start studying massage in autumn 2024. I offer classical massage at OloOk.

What fascinates me about massage is learning something new - the human body is a magnificent entity, and there is always something new to learn. I particularly like the moments when I notice the client relaxing during the massage. I strive to create a gentle, safe and unhurried atmosphere in which to let go of unnecessary tension.

In my spare time, I sing, spend time with my family and exercise in different ways.
